Tonkin 1936 uses Himalayan sandalwood, from sustainable harvesting areas. Selecting the purest quality wood under the hands of craftsmen, sandalwood powder is mixed with finely ground lavender buds, incubated for many days and using forest resin to create incense sticks. When the incense is completed, skilled craftsmen continue to infuse the fresh scent with pure lavender essential oil and dry it away from sunlight and high temperatures for many weeks until the scent reaches the perfect blend of sandalwood and lavender.
