Phù Thiên Kiến Quốc is inspired by the image of Saint Gióng — one of the “Four Immortals” — whose journey is among the most extraordinary and complete: after defeating the invaders, he sought neither fame nor reward, but rode his iron horse back to the heavens upon fulfilling his mission, leaving behind an undying belief in the power of unity and patriotism.

Through the soaring form of the Iron Horse, the sculptor conveys the image of a people who always rise when called upon — a spirit that aspires to transcend limits, yet remains firmly rooted in enduring inner strength.

Both the Iron Horse and Saint Gióng are depicted rearing and ascending, completely detached from the ground — an absolute upward movement symbolizing breakthrough beyond limits and the pinnacle of victory.

Every fold of the cloak, every muscle of the Iron Horse is rendered with bold, wave-like lines, evoking surging energy like great ocean swells — representing the powerful inner strength and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people.
