PRIMORDIAL VESSEL FORM
The Primordial Vessel Form series is a body of ceramic sculptures within Trần Văn An’s creative philosophy of Inner Force Field. Organic in appearance, these vessels are no longer conceived as containers but as “primordial bodies” imbued with their own internal energy.
The soft, enclosed forms, hollow within, evoke seeds, cells, or archaic life forms in the process of becoming. Small openings on their surfaces suggest breath and the quiet emergence of growth from within matter itself.
When presented on their own, the works exist as contemplative sculptural entities marked by stillness and introspection. When combined with flowers or branches, they become environments that nurture and sustain life.
