Ho Xuan Huong, also known as the "Queen of Nôm poetry," is described as a beautiful, talented, and strong-willed woman. Her works mainly revolve around themes related to women, lives constrained and bound. Her poetry isn't romantic ballads but rather satirical, mocking, and criticizing the vices in feudal society. Ho Xuan Huong is the only woman in Vietnam to be honored by UNESCO with the title of "World Cultural Celebrity."
